ALEXANDER ZVEREV left girlfriend Sophia Thomalla looking concerned as he took a heavy fall on Centre Court.
The German, 27, took on Britain's Cameron Norrie in round three of Wimbledon.
Fourth seed Zverev took the first set 6-4 against the home hopeful.
Chasing down a a drop shot at 2-2 in the second, the 6ft 6in player slipped and took a heavy fall.
He writhed around clutching his left knee, with umpire Aurelie Tourte immediately coming down from her chair to check on him.
After lying on his back wincing, Zverev tentatively began trying to stretch out his knee.

As supervisor Cedric Mourier walked onto court, BBC TV cameras cut to Zverev's worried looking girlfriend Sophia.
The German actress and model, 34, watched the match from Zverev's player box, sat behind his brother and father.
Waiting to see if he would be able to resume, she placed her hands on the back of her head, looking distraught.
The pair have been linked since 2020.

To her relief, Zverev was able to continue after being checked over by a physio.
He continued to play well, and broke Norrie to serve for the second set at 5-4.

After a short consultation, Zverev dusted himself down to take the second set - and a 6-4 6-4 lead in the process.
