Stacey Dooley gives birth to first child with Strictly's Kevin Clifton with ...

Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton have become parents as they welcomed a beautiful baby girl together.

The documentary maker, 35, took to Instagram to announce she had given birth as she shared a sweet photo of an envelope revealing her daughter's Disney-inspired name.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Our Daughter is here. My little masterpiece! I'm COMPLETELY OBSESSED. Love you Minnie, Love you Kev x."

Kevin also announced the happy news with the envelope, writing: "Our daughter is here. The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. So proud of u @sjdooley. Love u Minnie , Love u Stace x."

The couple were met with hundreds of messages from friends and fans who excitedly rushed to congratulate them.

Judge Motsi Mabuse gushed: "Congratulations my friend!! It’s the beginning of a very exciting capital of your life ! I wish you all best."

While Kevin's former partner Susan Calman wrote: "The most amazing thing. So happy for you both. Congratulations partner xxx."

It Takes Two host Janette Manrara commented: "CONGRATULATIONS!!!"

Kevin's sister Joanne, who is also a Strictly champion, shared her excitement over the news as she gushed: "I'm an Auntie to our little Minnie!"

Stacey, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, with her professional dance partner Kevin, first shared the news that she was expecting a baby in August.

Taking to Instagram with a polaroid picture of her gently holding her baby bump, she wrote: "Gaaaaaaang.....We are having a baby!

"So b****y delighted. Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu. (Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I've had my t**s done in LA I'm gonna scream)".

The couple were met by messages of congratulations from famous pals, including Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown who wrote: "Ohhhhh myyyyy good!!! So many congratulations to you both".

Katie Piper also joined in the festivities and commented: "So happy for you," while Radio 1's Charlie Hedges added: "Congratsssssss".

Susannah Constantine wrote: "You have tits AND YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!! Screaming with delight for you both! Best news EVVA!"

The couple's little arrival came just after Kevin reached a birthday milestone as he turned 40.

Stacey shared a photo collage of him dancing with the text "jumping in to forty" written above.

She added the sweet caption: "King Kev. Will you dance with me for the next 40 yrs??? LOVE U 4(0) EVA.

"Simply the best. Love alwayzzzz, your gf and your baby," she wrote.

After the couple became more than just dancing partners, it was quickly decided that they had been got by the so-called "Strictly curse".

Stacey was in a relationship at the time with her boyfriend of five years Sam Tucknott.

She and Sam broke up in April 2019 and then a short while later Stacey confirmed that she and Kevin were dating.

Furious Sam accused Kevin of being a "rat" and a "snake" and claimed the couple had begun their romance while he was still with Stacey.

Addressing his outrage on Twitter, Stacey wrote: "Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are 2 sides to every story.

"I haven't got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I've read on here. Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward."

In an interview with the Guardian, Stacey said how she and Kevin were secretive about their blossoming relationship.

"Kev and I have agreed not to go into too much detail about our private lives because you can't really indulge that and then ask for privacy," she said.

Meanwhile, Kevin's first marriage was to amateur Latin world champion Anna Melnikova when he was just 20-years-old. The pair were dance partners from 2002 to 2006 and tied the knot in 2003.

In 2007, Kevin married trained ballet dancer Clare Craze, after they met at a London Salsa bar.

They both starred in dance show Burn The Floor in 2009, where he met Karen Hauer, who would go on to become the next Mrs Clifton, and joined Strictly in 2012.

Kevin and Clare split in 2010 and the Strictly star then got married to Karen in 2015 after getting down on one knee to propose on her birthday on stage during a performance on Burn the Floor. The pair got hitched in 2015.

However, the pro dancers divorced in March 2018 but continued to perform on Strictly together.
