Stacey Dooley and Grimsby's Kevin Clifton have been swamped with kind messages after announcing the birth of their baby girl today.

However, perhaps none are as thoughtful and touching as this announcement on the London Underground. The message, by TFL employees Jeremy Chopra and Ian Redpath, reflects on the joys of parenthood.

Paying tribute to the family and baby Minnie, the message by @allontheboard reads: "Congratulations Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton on the birth of your baby daughter Minnie.

"It really is such wonderful news, magical memories will be made, and new adventures will be had with moments to enjoy, from cuddles, kisses and first words, to the time Minnie first tries on her dancing shoes.

"The legendary TV presenter dancing queen and the performing triple-threat Kev now have a little princess to cherish.

"Also, congratulations to everyone around the world becoming parents of beautiful babies. To love and adore; babies don't come with instructions but every time a baby giggles and smiles it makes any sleepless night seem worthwhile.

"It's so easy to forgive them for their dirty nappies or when you trip over their toys on the floor."

Stacey Dooley was blown away and commented on the photograph of the TFL board on Instagram. "People are so bloody kind ..... ta so much!" she wrote.

Another wellwisher commented: "Congratulations! And I can confirm that Minnie’s make beautiful, intelligent, smart, hilarious little girls, I have one of my own. Enjoy her."

"Congratulations Stacey and Kevin on the birth of your daughter Minnie," said another.

Stacey and Kevin broke the news about their bundle of joy earlier today, with Stacey writing: "Our Daughter is here. My little masterpiece! I'm COMPLETELY OBSESSED. Love you Minnie, Love you Kev x."

Meanwhile, Waltham-born professional dancer Kevin wrote on Instagram: "Our daughter is here. The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. So proud of u @sjdooley. Love u Minnie, Love u Stace x."
