Sheffield Wednesday vs Bristol City live updates

Hello and welcome to this evening's live blog as Bristol City travel to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.

The Robins were last in action just a couple of days ago against Coventry City at the CBS Arena. Liam Manning's side was unable to end their recent poor run away from Ashton Gate as they were beaten 1-0 by Frank Lampard's Sky Blues.

Fortunately, the nature of the Reds' busy schedule means they have another opportunity to breathe new life into the play-off push against the Owls this evening. Danny Rohl's side sit just one place behind City in the table, with only goal difference separating the two sides in the battle for the top six.

Wednesday come into this evening's clash without a win in any of their last three games in all competitions. They were last in action on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten by Leeds United at Elland Road in front of the ITV cameras.

When these two sides met earlier this season at Ashton Gate, nothing could separate them as they played out an uneventful 0-0 draw in front of the Robins' faithful.
