S Club members 'banned from contacting' Hannah Spearritt after ...
Members of S Club have reportedly been told not to speak directly to Hannah Spearritt after she was left out of plans for the upcoming reunion tour. It has been reported that Hannah was "blindsided" when the tour was launched without her.
According to the Mirror, she was shocked when the remaining five members - Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens, and Tina Barrett - went public to launch as a five-piece on social media. Hannah once dated S Club 7 bandmate Paul Cattermole, who died in April aged 46.
It's now been alleged by sources claiming to have insider knowledge that Hannah has since turned to lawyers as her former bandmates were told not to contact her. Speaking earlier this week, the remaining members of S Club touched on Hannah's absence during an interview regarding their upcoming tour.
Jon stated "it's a conversation for Hannah to have" but stressed "we've got loads of stuff" happening in the future so the door is always open for her. Tina added how "nothing bad" happened but everyone needed their own space.
However, a source now claims there is "little to no chance" of Hannah making an appearance due to the "bad blood" among the pop group. Speaking to The Sun, the insider claimed: "Hannah is devastated. She was pushed out and doesn’t understand why. The rest of S Club has been told not to contact her."
The source goes on to allege Hannah was "binned" following a series of disagreements with S Club creator Simon Fuller. It's alleged Hannah's bandmates all signed their contracts to go on tour "in the blink of an eye", but Hannah "took her time and pushed back on a few details".
They then allege Hannah was unaware of S Club's relaunch as a five-piece prior to the social media announcement. The source goes on to claim "poor Hannah" very much wanted to take to the stage with S Club again but had "issues which needed resolving". They add "the rest of the band" is currently not communicating with her. The Mirror has approached representatives for S Club and Hannah for comment.
Speaking in an interview earlier this month, S Club revealed Paul's family have given the five-piece group their blessing to move forward with a tour to celebrate 25 years of S Club and shared how they believe Paul's spirit came to visit them on set while filming a video for their new single.
Paul's cause of death was confirmed in May following the singer's death in April. Dorset Coroner's Service confirmed Paul died of natural causes and no inquest into the singer's death will take place. However Dorset Police, who found Paul's body on April 6, said their enquiries were "ongoing".
The S Club singer's death was announced by his family and his band S Club 7 in April with fans and famous friends flooding social media with tributes and sharing their memories of the late star. A statement from the band to announce Paul's death read: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.
"There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
Paul's tragic passing came just weeks on from S Club 7 announcing their plans to reunite ahead of their 25th anniversary as a band. Following Paul's heartbreaking death, the group announced their intention to continue with the tour – which has been renamed to The Good Times Tour, but Hannah will not be joining the band on stage.
