The Royal Variety Performance 2019 acts: Who is performing this year?

The red carpet will be rolled out once again as The Royal Variety Performance 2019 is airing tonight (Tuesday, December 10). The historic show has welcomed some of the most famous faces in entertainment to perform in front of members of the royal family and this year is no different. Here are just some of the acts who will feature in tonight’s show on ITV.
Headlining tonight’s show will be Mr Let Me Entertain You himself, Robbie Williams.
The former Take That band member will perform a few songs which feature on his festive album The Christmas Present which was released last month.
He will be singing alongside jazz singer-songwriter Jamie Cullum who is featured on Williams’ album.
Williams was also meant to be singing with Rod Stewart but he was unable to perform due to illness.

Another performance viewers are going to be treated to is from Britain’s Got Talent winner Colin Thackery.
Thackery, 89, won the hearts of the British public earlier this year with his heartfelt story about his wife Joan who died three years ago.
The Chelsea Pensioner beat mentalist Marc Spelmann - better known as X - who was named as this year’s runner-up.
He will be singing I Vow to Thee, My Country so there is unlikely to be a dry eye in the house.
Expect to laugh out loud with comedian Frank Skinner as he joins the line-up with musical comedians Flo and Joan.
Comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan will also be hosting the variety performance, the first time in 11 years more than one person has presented the show.
Other noteworthy acts will be Austrian acrobatic dance troupe Zurcaroh, Lewis Capaldi who will be singing a track from his album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, singer Mabel, Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia and Emeli Sandé who will be joined by Manchester’s Bee Vocal Choir to give a new performance in aid of mental health.
