BBC’s Children In Need is an annual telethon dedicated to raising money for the charity of the same name. Children In Need funds thousands of charities and projects nationwide with hopes to give every child the childhood they deserve and the support they need.
Bake sales, marathons and sponsored bike rides are popular fundraisers and mascot Pudsey the bear has become a famous face in his own right since his introduction in 1975.

Where to buy Pudsey bear’s official 2022 T-shirt and merchandiseYou can find Pudsey’s official merchandise online at the Children In Need website or on the high street at exclusive partner stores ASDA, Greggs, F Hinds, and One Stop.
ASDAThe official Children In Need 2022 unisex T-shirt is available in ASDA in the signature yellow – the children’s version comes in both yellow and black. This year’s graphic features a bright star and spot design, with a Pudsey arrow slogan. Priced at £9, a minimum of 57 per cent of the cost will be donated to charity.
However, the T-shirt is already out of stock at the supermarket so we recommend purchasing online on the charity website, where adults can choose between black and yellow editions.
Nevertheless, other Children In Need merchandise is available from ASDA including socks, onesies, pyjama sets, and hoodies.
GreggsRun, don’t walk – Britain’s favourite bakery has partnered with Children In Need to offer limited edition sweet goodies: the caramel-flavoured Pudsey Biscuit; a gingerbread biscuit of Pudsey’s BFF, Blush; and two vanilla buns of the bear duo.
F HindsIf accessories are more up your alley, F Hinds offers a Pudsey trinket box, a money box, and an alarm clock.
One StopConvenience store One Stop has the biggest variety of Pudsey goods, ranging from water bottles (£3.50) to the classic Pudsey ear headband (£2.50). The latter even has a Strictly Come Dancing edition, which comes in a sparkly foil leopard print (£3).
What’s on the schedule for BBC Children In Need 2022?Taking place at dock10 at MediaCityUK, Salford, the live fundraising speculator kicks off at 7pm on Friday.
Alex Scott, Chris Ramsey, Ade Adepitan, Mel Giedroyc and Jason Manford will present Appeal Night, which will focus on the Positive Relationships campaign.
The night will be jam-packed with performances, sketches and games. Bradley Walsh will host a children’s takeover of comedy game show Blankety Blank, featuring Maisie Smith and John Waite.
Other highlights will include Graham Norton’s infamous red chair; The Weakest Link presented by comedian Romesh Ranganathan; and performances by Diversity and Lewis Capaldi.
