PSG v Man City 22 Jan 2025

A very good evening from the Parc des Princes, tonight’s venue for what should be a crackerjack of a Champions League clash between Paris Saint-Germain and City.

We appear to have brought a touch of Blighty over to the glamorous City of Light.

It has been cold and dank since our arrival yesterday and the heavens opened late this afternoon to add  even more of a rather Mancunian flavour to the occasion!

With two games of the Champions League stage left to play there is still everything to play for both for City and PSG as sides seek to confirm their berth for either direct entry into the knockout stages – the top eight - or a place in the two-legged last 16 play-off for the sides finishing between 9th and 24th.

After the conclusion of last night’s European fixtures, City were in 24th position on eight points with PSG down in 26th with seven.

But with two games left everything can still chance which only adds to the sense of frisson and excitement ahead of tonight!
