It does not get any easier for Manchester United in their next outing, as they tackle Bayern Munich in Bavaria, before they return to Premier League duty much closer to home, meeting Burnley at Turf Moor. Brighton, meanwhile, host AEK Athens in Thursday's Europa League debut, then Bournemouth await next weekend.

Continuing their unprecedented dominance over Manchester United, a slick and clinical Brighton side post their fourth straight win over the Red Devils - and their two-goal winning margin could well have been bigger. Ex-United striker Welbeck set them on their way, and Joao Pedro's second-half strike capped another fine performance from De Zerbi's men. A disjointed display from the hosts saw them greeted by many empty seats and some booing at the final whistle, while the Seagulls will fly home with 12 Premier League points on the board already.

SUPER STOP! Onana prevents the hosts' embarrassment becoming more acute, as he dives low to his left in order to keep out Ansu Fati's goalbound strike! Gilmour sent the young loanee through, and he really should have scored!

Six minutes of stoppage time have been indicated by the match officials, but if anything it seems more likely that Brighton will score again than Manchester United can stage a dramatic late comeback.

Ansu Fati tries his luck with a shot from the centre of the area, which is saved comfortably enough by Onana in the bottom-right corner. Again, it was Joao Pedro who played the final pass.

SAVE! Once again, Joao Pedro drops deep to feed in an attacking colleague, as he picks out Ferguson's run into the box from the right. The teenage substitute then drives a low shot at Onana, who makes a sharp save!
