Man Utd vs Brighton LIVE: Premier League latest score and goal ...
Manchester United are hoping to continue their unbeaten start to 2025 when they host Brighton in the Premier League today.
The Red Devils are beginning to find form under Ruben Amorim, with an impressive draw at Liverpool followed by wins against Arsenal and Southampton.
The midweek victory over the Saints was rather lethargic until Amad Diallo’s late hat-trick however and they’ll have to be at their best against Brighton who themselves are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.
United have been boosted by the return of Diogo Dalot from suspension but there are question marks over the availability of several other stars.
Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia have all been linked with transfers away from Manchester this January.

Peter Bankes has a look at the monitor… goal disallowed!
GOAL! Man Utd 1-2 Brighton (Pedro)
Scruffy, but Brighton won’t care!
Welbeck continues to haunt his old club as he wins a free-kick in a dangerous position after being brought down by Mainoo.
The free-kick doesn’t appear to work but after a bit of pinball it falls to Joao Pedro who smashes the ball past Onana!

Now Amad has a shot blocked by Lewis Dunk.
Moments later, Dalot looks to be through on goal but he’s offside.

Second-half underway! Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
As mentioned earlier, Luke Littler has been parading his World Darts Championship trophy during the break.
But it’s back to the football now as the teams re-emerge from the tunnel!
‘Amad is key’
‘Brighton started incredibly fast,’ former Man Utd star Dion Dublin tells BBC Radio 5 Live
‘Man Utd have felt their way back into the game. Getting the ball to Amad is key for Man Utd.’
Amad Diallo as been bright, as per usual, but in fairness all of United’s forwards have done well – but they’re lacking quality in the final moment.
Around the grounds
It’s goals galore everywhere else, with Forest and Everton winning 3-0 against Southampton and Tottenham.
Is this the end of Ange Postecoglou.
After this Manchester City travel to Ipswich.
Half-time! Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
Up the other end Pedro wants a penalty but he’s not getting it. Went down too easily.
That’s it for the first-half. They’ll surely be more goals in the second.

Two minutes added on as United win a free-kick in a dangerous position.
Fernandes whips it in for Maguire at the far post but he gets the header all wrong. Offside anyway

So close for Brighton as Welbeck is played in but Dalot is back to block the shot and De Ligt clears the chance away.
41 mins: Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
Amad looks sure to score after being played through but he can’t round the keeper and the chance goes a begging.
Offside flag went up anyway but replays showed it was very tight.
38 mins: Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
Nice skill from Welbeck as he juggles the ball before attempting a shot/cross. Onana should claim easily but Maguire lumps it away instead. United’s defence not quite in sync today.
34 mins: Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
More questionable refereeing as Amad appears to win a corner after a lovely flowing move but a goal kick is given.
Verbruggen continues to time waste over his goal kicks but gets instant karma by passing it straight to Maguire.
31 mins: Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
Two other Premier League games kicked off at 2pm. Nottingham Forest are 2-0 up against Southampton, no surprise.
But Everton, now managed by former United boss David Moyes, have just doubled their lead against Tottenham!
All hail the Moyessiah!
27 mins: Man Utd 1-1 Brighton
Brighton’s main strategy has been pump it long to Mitoma and see what happens. In fairness it’s produced one goal and the Japan star is continuing to cause problems.
Baleba, fresh off giving away the penalty, now injures his own player as Ayari takes a nasty fall.
GOAL! Man Utd 1-1 Brighton (Fernandes)
Inevitable.
Fernandes sends Verbruggen the wrong way and it’s all level!
Baleba was booked for the foul by the way.
22 mins: Man Utd 0-1 Brighton
Penalty!
Zirkzee is clearly fouled by Baleba just as he’s about to shoot. Stonewall.
Fernandes to take…
18 mins: Man Utd 0-1 Brighton
Better from United as Diallo outmuscles his marker and passes to Mazraoui in the box who in turn sets up Fernandes, but the captain scuffs his shot and Brighton have a goal-kick.
