BBC Breakfast fans were left in awe on Monday morning as they claimed that singer Lulu is 'not aged a day' as she opened up on her final tour on the show

BBC Breakfast fans were completely smitten with Lulu's "ageless" appearance, as viewers gushed over her zest for life.

Lulu Kennedy-Cairns CBE, originally Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie, is a showbiz legend whose career has spanned an impressive six decades.

The 75-year-old Scottish sensation joined BBC Breakfast hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay on the Monday morning programme to chat about her plans for what promises to be her final tour.

Jon opened the conversation by expressing his gratitude, saying: "Thanks for coming in and talking to us on a Monday."

Lulu responded enthusiastically: "Well I love to work, I'm a workaholic.", reports the Express. Jon then probed further: "So you're going back on the road again."

Sally was quick to enquire: "So you're going on tour. Have you had to add more dates? " to which Lulu detailed: "What happened is, I did a tour about a year ago and it was hard work and at my age I thought, do I need to be doing this."

Lulu revealed her decision to shake things up, "So I've decided to do things differently and announced a final tour for this year but it sold out and a lot of people couldn't get tickets so the promoter said can we do more dates. We are doing ten gigs."

She shared her heartfelt emotions, stating: "It was so moving to say that this is my final tour because it is my life. It has been my life for the past 60 years and the audiences have been with me all the way and I had tears in my eyes so when asked if I could do others I said well if you space them out and make them leisurely for me."

Sally queried, "How do you make them leisurely? " prompting Lulu to quip, "You don't. It's a lot of bs but I just had to say that." In the conversation, Jon was keen to ask, "Talking about tours and tickets. Everybody has been trying to get Oasis tickets over the weekend."

To which Lulu interjected: "That'll all be over soon." Seeking her perspective, Jon probed, "What are your thoughts," only for Lulu to look at both Jon and Sally and respond, "I don't really want to go into that."

Throughout the chat, viewers were quick to compliment Lulu on her seemingly age-defying looks as many remarked she hasn't appeared to age since her initial fame in the 70s.

One enthusiastic viewer posted, "#BBCBreakfast If I get to 75 and ha e her energy then I'll be happy lol." Another commented, "@Andi000211 Lulu is such a youthful person. Some her age seem so old. I love her energy. #BBCBreakfast."

And one more added their voice, "@Mofoman360 How amazing does Lulu look she's 75 and is still full of energy #BBCBreakfast."
