Lulu dazzles BBC Breakfast viewers with her ageless appearance
BBC Breakfast viewers were left in awe of Lulu's 'timeless' appearance as the singer shut down a line of questioning from host Jon Kay

BBC Breakfast viewers were left in awe of Lulu's timeless charm as the singer appeared on the show, radiating an infectious energy that had fans praising her youthful vigour.

The iconic Lulu Kennedy-Cairns CBE, born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie, has been a fixture in the entertainment world for six decades.

At 75, the Scottish star graced the BBC Breakfast set with presenters Sally Nugent and Jon Kay to discuss what is set to be her farewell tour.

Jon began the interview with a warm welcome: "Thanks for coming in and talking to us on a Monday."

Lulu, ever the spirited guest, replied: "Well I love to work, I'm a workaholic.", reports the Mirror.

, as reported by the Express. Jon delved deeper, asking: "So you're going back on the road again."

Sally jumped in with curiosity: "So you're going on tour. Have you had to add more dates? " Lulu then explained: "What happened is, I did a tour about a year ago and it was hard work and at my age I thought, do I need to be doing this."

Deciding to switch things up, Lulu shared, "So I've decided to do things differently and announced a final tour for this year but it sold out and a lot of people couldn't get tickets so the promoter said can we do more dates. We are doing ten gigs."

Lulu opened up about her emotions, stating, "It was so moving to say that this is my final tour because it is my life. It has been my life for the past 60 years and the audiences have been with me all the way and I had tears in my eyes so when asked if I could do others I said well if you space them out and make them leisurely for me."

Sally, inquisitive, asked, "How do you make them leisurely? " to which Lulu humorously responded, "You don't. It's a lot of bs but I just had to say that."

During the discussion, Jon expressed interest, saying, "Talking about tours and tickets. Everybody has been trying to get Oasis tickets over the weekend."

Prompting Lulu to make the remark: "That'll all be over soon."

Jon continued, seeking her insight, "What are your thoughts," leading Lulu to look at both Jon and Sally and say, "I don't really want to go into that."
