Leon Balogun has left QPR following his recuperation from the hamstring injury he sustained against Coventry City towards the end of last season

LEON Balogun has left QPR following his recuperation from the hamstring injury he sustained against Coventry City towards the end of last season.

The defender’s contract with the club expired in June but he remained part of the squad throughout the close season and early pre-season to aid his recovery.

The 35-year-old, who travelled with the group to Austria, has now left the camp.

Balogun joined QPR 12 months ago and made 16 appearances during his time with us, scoring once.

The club would like to thank Leon for his service and wish him well for the future.
