LeBron James Reflects on Bronny's NBA Debut with Lakers ...

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate sharing an NBA court with his son, Bronny James, during Tuesday's season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Along with several photos of him and Bronny on the court together, LeBron included the caption: "Hollywood couldn't write a better script so we helped them write it and brought it to them. HISTORY WAS MADE! #JamesGang."
Ever since it became clear that Bronny had a chance to play high-level college basketball and potentially make it to the NBA, LeBron talked openly about his dream of being teammates with his son.
The Lakers helped make it a reality by selecting Bronny with the No. 55 overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft and putting him on the active roster.
With four minutes remaining in the second quarter of L.A.'s 110-103 win over Minnesota, Bronny checked into the game for the first time alongside his dad, making NBA history in the process.

No father and son had ever played together in an NBA game before, but the 39-year-old LeBron and 20-year-old Bronny made it happen.
Although Bronny played only three minutes and didn't score a point, he was part of a moment that will be remembered and talked about for many years to come.
Although Bronny only saw a few minutes of action, LeBron played a key role in the Lakers' 1-0 start, finishing with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting, five rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Anthony Davis was the star of the show for Los Angeles, however, recording a game-high 36 points and 16 rebounds in 38 minutes of action.
The Lakers were a playoff team last season, but they had to go through the play-in tournament and fell to the Denver Nuggets in the first round, so getting off to a strong start and building a cushion this season will be paramount.
They faced a tough test in their opener against the Timberwolves team that reached the Western Conference Finals last season, and the Lakers were up for the challenge.
James is already a four-time NBA champion and four-time NBA Finals MVP, but he would undoubtedly love to add at least one more title to his list of accolades.
If LeBron is able to make that happen, doing it alongside his son could make it the most rewarding championship yet.
