Spring Statement: Sunak increases household support fund to £1bn

Rishi Sunak has announced he will double the household support fund to £1bn during his latest spring statement in the House of Commons on Wednesday. He also talked about \"three immediate measures\" to tackle the cost of living crisis, one of them being a 5p cut per litre to fuel duty until March 2023. And a raise of the national insurance threshold by £3,000 to £12,570.
