Everton are in the running for several Barclays Women’s Super League awards for the month of April.

After an impressive month that saw the Toffees beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 and secure a point against high-flying Arsenal in a 1-1 draw last weekend, the Blues have been nominated in three categories.

Sara Holmgaard - who helped set up the opener against Brighton for her twin, Karen - has been nominated for Player of the Month, Brian Sorensen has been shortlisted for Manager of the Month, and the new youngest goalscorer in the history of the WSL, Issy Hobson's maiden strike has been put forward for Goal of the Month.

Voting will close on Monday 6 May at 10am (BST).

Everton conclude their WSL home campaign on Saturday 4 May against Tottenham Hotspur at Walton Hall Park.
