Dwight Yorke jets to Maldives as Katie Price's son Harvey begs for 'daddy'

Dwight Yorke has shared a smug picture from his holiday in the Maldives after Katie Price posted a heartbreaking video of his estranged son Harvey begging to see his "daddy".

Less than 24 hours after Katie, 41, begged her ex to get in touch with his son , the former footballer, 48, jetted off on a luxury sunshine break.

Dwight spent Christmas in Dubai before touching down in the Maldives for a stay at a swanky hotel in the Indian Ocean paradise.

He shared a post showing him hanging out with cricket legend Brian Lara and fellow former footballer Russell Latapy.

The former Manchester United star is believed to have not seen his teenage son in 13 years after splitting from Katie before she gave birth.

He even disputed her claims he was Harvey's dad until his paternity was proven by a DNA test.

Yesterday, Katie shared a sad clip of the disabled teen and begged Dwight to get in touch with his son.

She wrote: "Anyone who knows @Officialdwightyorke19 please get him to contact his son Harvey doesn’t deserve this, he see’s his other son Tiger so I don’t understand!

"He does charity work for different kids charity yet doesn’t see or support his own son . I don’t get it!"

In the video, Katie asks Harvey: "Harvey who do you want to write a message to on Instagram ?"

"Daddy Dwight" Harvey replies. Katie then asks Harvey what he would say to Dwight.

"I love you Daddy Dwight. You look beautiful," responds Harvey, who was born with Prader Willis Syndrome.

Katie then posted the same video to her Story, tagging Dwight again as she wrote: "Please see your son, get in contact - have a heart as Harvey doesn't deserve the fact you see your other son and not him!

"You're always welcome and it's never too late. Why can't Harvey meet his brother?"

Katie has previously claimed Dwight last saw Harvey when the youngster was just four years old.

Speaking in a YouTube video earlier this year, she said: "Dwight should start entering Harvey's life, it's been years...

"How can you not want to know Harv?

"Harvey is dying to do a YouTube channel, and I think it would be great for you to see him because he's so funny.

"Although people have seen him in my reality show or on my Instagram it's just bits but I think people will be pretty surprised how switched on and funny he is."

Katie and Dwight split before she gave birth to Harvey in 2002, amid claims he'd cheated on her.

She went on to claim the sports star distanced himself from his son as he was unable to deal with Harvey's disabilities.
