Drake's biggest ever bet saw him win a huge amount of money

Drakes biggest ever bet saw him win a huge amount of money
Drake has made some impressive winnings betting big on major sporting events, most notably a UFC event in 2022.

As one of the biggest stars in the world, it is still a wonder why Drake continues to gamble. And yet the rap sensation has netted some massive winnings.

Or more realistically, would you whip out your phone and put down some green on a winner for a major sporting event.

Admittedly, the rap star has more than a fair bit of spare cash that I'm sure he could part with if he really had to.

In 2022, he shared with his fans just how much he was able to win after a brazen bet that incorporated two UFC bouts in London.

In July of that year, Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett and Jordan Leavitt faced off in the octagon. In addition to this, Molly McCann was facing off against Hannah Goldy.

Drake was more than a little bit invested in the two fights as he put down $2,296,211.30 on both Pimblett and McCann to win.

After the pair won, Drake received a payout of a whopping $3,723,077 and shared his betting slip to his social media with the caption: “A scousers parlay.”

Following the win, McCann took to Instagram to request Drake buy her a Rolex and to her surprise he agreed, saying he would get one for her and Pimblett.

After just a month, Drake stuck to his word and Pimblett shared a video of his gratitude.

“Oh s**t Belter! Thank you very much. Nice one for that Drake, thank you very much for that. He said he'd get us a Rolex and he's got us one,” he said.

“He would’ve been able to get us a better watch if he bet with Barstool, he would’ve got more money. But thank you very much really appreciate that, lad. Nice one.”

Not only was this a massive win for Drake but it spat in the face of the dreaded internet phenomenon known as the ‘Drake Curse’.

For those not in the know, for a good while there was a habit of Drake publicly endorsing an athlete, either through a post on social media or a picture, only for them to then underperform.

This was made even worse when Drake would show his fans who he was betting on, resulting in many rejoicings saying they knew they would win if they bet on the other athlete.
