TV star Danielle Lloyd breaks down as she reveals shock cancer
Model and presenter Danielle Lloyd urged her followers to get any moles or funny marks checked out

Danielle Lloyd has shared an emotional video with fans, revealing her skin cancer diagnosis. The Liverpool-born ex-beauty queen admitted being "really shocked" by the news and mentioned she would be undergoing surgery.

In the poignant Instagram clip, she urged: "I don't really know how to say this and I didn't know whether to come on and say it but I feel like I have to raise awareness of this happening to other people.! Today I have been diagnosed with a form of skin cancer. And I just want to raise awareness for anyone who might think they've got something funny on their bod, they see a mole that's growing that's not normal - please please please go to your doctor. You just never know."

Candid about her astonishment, she continued, "I'm really shocked at what I've been told today but I've been really supported by the Macmillan nurses at the hospital. I am going to have to have an operation to see if it has spread. But yeah, just honestly, not what I expected today. And I suppose not what anyone expects, but please guys look after your skin. Stay off sunbeds, wear factor 50. Just look after yourself because you never know."

Danielle has previously opened up about her health struggles, including a cyst on her ovary, and due to endometriosis and adenomyosis, she had surgery which means she can no longer carry any more children, as reported by The Mirror.

In April 2024, she also posted a picture of herself in a hospital bed post-surgery. In the caption, she wrote: "Alive and well after surgery. "Thanks for all your lovely messages", reports the Liverpool Echo.

Danielle gave an an interview in 2023 following her appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. She emerged as one of the standout contestants, making it all the way to the final. Danielle confessed that she surprised herself with her performance on the gruelling reality show, but credited motherhood as the perfect preparation for the SAS recruitment programme. She further commented: "I've been through five childbirths so nothing compares to that. I feel like having kids you've definitely got to be resilient."
