Is Chelsea vs Wolves on TV? Kick-off time, match odds and team news
Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend when they welcome Wolves to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues are coming off the back of two successive victories since their return from the international break, defeating Crystal Palace 2-1 last weekend before seeing off AC Milan in Champions League Group E with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday night.
It represents a strong start to Graham Potter’s reign as manager and the Blues are out to continue that run against managerless Wolves, who sacked Bruno Lage following last weekend’s 2-0 defeat by West Ham as they linger in the relegation zone.
Chelsea vs Wolves will kick-off at 3pm on Saturday, October 8 at Stamford Bridge.
The last meeting between these two sides came back in May, when Wolves fought back from behind to secure a point in west London with a 2-2 draw in the Premier League.
Following a goalless first half, Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring with a 56th-minute penalty before doubling the lead just two minutes later. Francisco Trincao halved the deficit in the 79th minute and Conor Coady scored a dramatic 90th-minute leveller to ensure the spoils were shared.

With this fixture sandwiched between two Champions League ties with AC Milan as part of Chelsea’s hectic October schedule, Potter may opt for some rotation from midweek as he aims to keep things as fresh as possible throughout his team.
Wesley Fofana’s first-half knee injury on Wednesday comes as a huge blow for the Blues, with the Frenchman expected to remain out until November. This weekend may also come too early for N’Golo Kante (thigh), although Carney Chukwuemeka (illness) could return to the matchday squad. Jorginho and Kai Havertz will aim to return to the starting line-up.

As for Wolves, experienced coaches Steve Davis and James Collins have been preparing the team for Saturday’s trip to Chelsea and could opt to put their own spin on things in hope of changing the club’s fortunes.
The Midlands outfit will be hoping to welcome back Hwang Hee-chan (adductor) from injury, although they remain without Pedro Neto (ankle), Raul Jimenez (groin) and Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), while Ruben Neves and Nathan Collins are suspended. Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa could be handed a first Wolves start on his return to the club.
