Melinda Messenger left Loose Women viewers stunned with her “incredible” appearance as she proudly donned her natural grey hair.

The former glamour and page three model flaunted her look and told the Loose Women ladies that she had decided to “grow old gracefully”.

Melinda was known for her signature blonde locks back in the day but revealed that she had finally decided to embrace her natural grey roots.

When asked to explain how she came to the decision to stop dyeing her natural hair, Melinda said: “Why not?

“Why not? I might dye my hair pink, blue, green… It doesn’t matter, does it? It’s just hair,” before discussing how she received criticism over the new look, as well as plenty of admirers.

She noted that critics claim she “looks old” but added that she takes it as a compliment, saying: “I”m not 27 and I don’t want to be 27.”

Taking to their Twitter, user @_Sullivan11 gushed: “It was great to see @melindamessnger on Loose Women, she always comes across as a really nice person and her hair looks amazing #LooseWomen.”

@kevwgs exclaimed: “Melinda Messenger is one of the nicest people in the media and she still looks absolutely incredible #LooseWomen.”

@Albinosupport commented: “Melinda Messenger looks fabulous with her natural grey hair, still stunning. More women need to embrace the grey.”

@HCHendrix1 said: “Melinda Messenger, still cute. love the hair, can’t get younger #loosewomen.”

@HarryCullen20 penned: “Melinda Messenger’s hair is not even grey. It’s bloody ash blonde FFS. What a load of crap.” (sic)

As well as discussing her new look, Melinda also touched on her personal life and admitted that she found it hard when her three children “suddenly grew up”.

She explained: “I did go through it when they got to a certain age a few years ago, and I felt that really, I was wanting to grief actually, I just found myself crying all the time.

“And, you know, obviously doing what I do, I have a lot of therapy and had a lot of therapy. So looking at it, I thought ‘Oh no, I’m in grief, and I’m in grief of letting go of that stage of my life that will never be there’.

“You know it doesn’t need honouring, we shouldn’t be afraid to honour these significant moments in life.

“There isn’t anything wrong and being sad or feeling that actually if anything, it can be like a recognition of what was really important and what really mattered.”

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV.
