Glasgow Airport jobs fair attracts more than 2400 people
The event at The Holiday Inn attracted people eager to start their aviation careers.
The fair had representatives from more than 35 employers based around the airport's campus, offering around 1000 roles.

"This is down to the hard-working team who prepared and organised the event and to all the organisations who got involved.
"As one of the region’s largest employers, it was fantastic to see so many people attending, finding out more about what opportunities were available for them at Glasgow Airport.
“We have received some great feedback from those involved and we look forward to new staff starting their aviation careers.”
These roles spanned various sectors, including security, retail, facilities management, catering, ground handling, and transportation.
The diverse roles included positions at fire service provider FALCK, ground handlers Swissport and Menzies, security specialists ICTS, and catering specialists Select Service Partners (SSP).
Airlines Loganair and Jet2 were also recruiting for various positions, as were special assistance providers OCS and facilities management company ABM.
Transport operators McGill’s were recruiting for many trainees and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) driver positions across their networks.
Several of the airport’s retailers, including Avolta, and travel agent partners Barrhead Travel and Hays Travel, also attended with a wide range of opportunities.
