France and Poland will battle it out for a place in the quarter-final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Sunday when they go head-to-head at the Al-Thumama Stadium.

Despite a 1-0 defeat in their final group outing against Tunisia, Didier Deschamps's men finished top of Group D with six points from a possible nine.

Czeslaw Michniewicz's men, meanwhile, just about finished as runners-up in Group C to set up tomorrow's encounter versus the reigning world champions.
