Who are Dear Alice? Strictly sign up 'hottest new boyband' for Icons ...
They have already been hyped up by Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly as 'the world's hottest new boyband' and Dear Alice will be the guest performers for this week's results show. And their star turn will come amid a lot of controversy over who's ended up in the dance-off.
A big first for Strictly, Icons Week certainly delivered the goods, with some stunning performances, classic tracks and some amazing costumes, as the BBC show's wardrobe and make up teams pulled out all the stops once again, just a week after all the craziness of Halloween Week.
For the third week in a row, there were two couples on the same score at the top of the leaderboard, with Tasha and Aljaz and JB and Lauren both getting 39 out of a possible 40 for their Couple's Choice routines; while at the other end of the standings, it was a tough night for Pete, as too many mistakes in his performance cost him and Jowita dear, as they got just 22 points from the judges.
This week's Strictly spoiler leaked late on Saturday night, with it bringing news of a shock bottom two but, before another couple are sent home from Strictly 2024, viewers at home will be treated to a performance from Dear Alice.
Who are Dear Alice on Strictly?
BBC viewers might recognise the group from the Saturday night TV series Made in Koreas: THE KL Pop Experience, which launched on BBC One and iPlayer in August and saw a bunch of lads from the UK put through the notoriously tough K-pop training process for 100 days, with the aim of being a huge worldwide phenomenon
The members of Dear Alice are: . Blaise Noon, Dexter Greenwood, Olly Quinn, James Sharp and Reese Carter, with viewers getting to chart their progress on their K-pop mission over the course of the six part fly on the wall series.
They will perform their track 'Best Day of Our Lives', as featured in Made in Korea on Sunday night's Strictly results show.
