Christmas jumper day 2021: best bargains from Asda, Tesco, and Sainsbury's - Bristol Live

Yes, it's the day we've all been waiting for: Christmas jumper day 2021 is here!

Forget Christmas day itself, everyone knows the best bit of Christmas time is dressing up to celebrate the occasion, and December 10 is the official Christmas jumper day for 2021.

The day is part of a fundraising campaign from Save the Children, a charity that provides help and assistance to children in the UK and all over the world.

Participants are encouraged to wear a Christmas jumper to work or school and donate money to Save the Children. The suggested donation is £2 for workers and £1 for school children.

If you don't already have a Christmas jumper, we've gone ahead and found the cheapest ones available at your local supermarket. George at Asda, for example, sells festive sweaters starting at £7.

F&F, Tesco's clothing brand, has Christmas jumpers starting at £12 available in-store at Tesco or online at Next.

Finally, Tu, Sainsbury's fashion line, has jumpers starting at £9.

Some 21,000 workplaces and 1.2 million workers have officially signed up to Save the Children's Christmas jumper day, with more likely taking part without having officially marked themselves as participating.

This is the 10th annual Christmas jumper day. Overall the event has raised over £27 million since its inception.
