Is Amber Heard to blame for 'Aquaman' sequel's most recent delay? Here's what we know

Actress Amber Heard has been going through a rough year after losing the law suit case against Johnny Depp. Her reputaiton has taken a massive hit that will hardly bring back her career the way it was. But losing this case and showing her true colors is just the tip of the iceberg, there is a lot of troubling information about her that is a red flag.

In recent weeks, we got details of the alleged billionaire sex parties she hosted alongside Elon Musk. This type of negative press doesn't go well with any movie release, just ask Ezra Miller about his many adventures and how WB had to do some damage control with him. There is a similar case with Amber Heard, who has fallen from grace and it has directly affected her role as Hera in the 'Aquaman' sequel.

The film led by Jason Momoa earned more than $1bn at the box office worldwide, which is one of the few that made this happen for the DC movies umbrella. Warner Brothers want to make this movie release as smooth as possible but Amber Heard is making things very difficult for them. The sensible thing to do is to push the film release to next year and wait until everything cools down with Amber Heard.

Earlier this week, WB announced they were pushing 'Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom' to December 2023. Although there is no proof that they did this because of Amber's problems, there is good reason to believe that's exactly why they did it. At the end of the day, Momoa himself offered proof that reshoots already took place and the film's schedule wouldn't be affected.

Since the trial against Johnny Depp was happening, there were petitions signed by millions of fans who were demanding Amber Heard to leave the film. They wanted WB to make a decision and fire the actress from the prohect entirely.

This hasn't happened yet but there is no way this hasn't affected their decision to push the film's release in some fashion. Even though we can't point directly at Amber as the main responsible for this new delay, nobody can help but think she had to do something with it.
