United States Alan Carr reveals why he turns down Strictly "every year"
Alan Carr has revealed that he has turned down Strictly Come Dancing every year, and for a very understandable reason.
The chat show host and RuPaul's Drag Race UK judge appears on The Graham Norton Show this evening (February 14) alongside pro Oti Mabuse, where the question of Strictly comes up.
"They ask me to do it every year, and I say, 'No' because it's too much like hard work," Alan admits.

However, he does reveal that he has a signature move, explaining: "I used to be able to slut drop, but I can't anymore, I'm at that age. I like 'Oops Up Side Your Head' because you get to sit down!"
Things get even better as the Chatty Man star goes on to demonstrate his moves alongside the audience, with Oti judging their talents.
Still, we think Alan slut-dropping is worth the licence fee alone.

Meanwhile, last year's winning Strictly celebrity Kelvin Fletcher has responded to speculation about his marriage to actress Eliza Marsland after he and Oti were spotted on a night out together.
Revealing that "everything is amazing" between him and his wife, Kelvin explained: "I am just a little bit bewildered by all the attention. But I am sure it will all blow over."
The Graham Norton Show continues this evening on BBC One at 10.35pm. Strictly Come Dancing will return for an all-new series later this year on BBC One.
